It's a tad chaotic in Casa de Ninja today.  Heh.  Today.  Maybe for a wee while now.  Miss Destruct Derby, Emily is fighting fit and firing on all cylinders.  I think Chris is trying to rebuild Versailles in the Workshop.. and little ol' Loz here is doing the dance of "Let's keep our shiz sorted!"


Busy.


To add to the mayhem that is, I am trying to pack for a weekend away.  Emily either decides to make a mosh pit of her nicely folded clothes or runs off wearing no pants shouting "Elly, does it MUM!"


I am not sure precisely, what she is doing.. but it does give me 3 seconds reprieve to pack our toothbrushes.


There is wood shavings from here to eternity, my eye twitches with the constant sound of a saw.. and Emily is watching Charlie & Lola.  Through binoculars.  Tessa-dog is having panic parties because she thinks we are leaving her. Barry and Duster have seed up to their ears, to last them the few days and I am wondering how on earth I am going to choose only two scarves to take.

My Mum, is having a party.  Yup.  Nana Kath is turning the sprightly age of 60 and is celebrating with her nearest and dearest.  Emily is beyond excited, some one mentioned fairy floss and she was all over it.  I am just trying to black out the 699.1km's we have to travel to get there.

Mintie anyone?

I have had 3 coffees, got up at stupid o'clock and went to the gym.. have a nice limp to prove it and have found my hand cream that wasn't actually hidden in "a pirate ship, mum" rather than.. in my handbag.

Obviously.

I am looking forward to a few days away, change of scenery and all that jazz.  Hanging out with the family, some good eats and drinks. We have the alarm on and Barry bites, so don't think about breaking in.

I am working on a playlist for the road trip.

So, I'll bid you a great weekend.. a tad early.  Hope it's awesome and stay clear of those Toy sales.  Nearly lost an eye yesterday.

I'll be hurting down the highway, no doubt listening to Charlie & Lola and using bags of popcorn as bribes.
