It is indeed, FRIDAY!

Friday has always been a favourite day of mine.  The weekend is just around the corner and it is a perfect  opportunity to reflect on: the highs, the lows and the myriad of things that can be categorised as "pop the kettle on thanks"

I like to high five this day.  Find five things that have made me smile.  Made me laugh.  Or stopped me in my tracks and made me go: and where is this in my job description?

It all stemmed from text messages I used to send Chris {text me} and it's eventuated from there.

So.  Join me.  Friday, high five!

As of 3.30pm, Chris is on holidays.  I am excited. He is beside himself.  Regulars to this side of the internets would realise it's been a crazy old place Ninja Towers and we are very much looking for some down time.  It's also going to be great to have some time, just to catch up.  Plan our next course of attack.  Plan some big changes.  Plan a day trip out.  Plan a walk to the park altogether.  Just chill.

Yesterday morning we graced the presence of the oh-so-familiar doctors office.  Of course he was running late.  Like an hour.  We had exhausted all avenues of "Please stop annoying that lady trying to read her book" and finally our name was called.

My heart burn has lived up to it's reputation and I'd also decided that my sore throat was starting to really irk me.  Oh.  And these damn spots I've had on my chin will not feck off.

I'm starting to rattle when I walk.  Antibiotics. Also I finally got a letter in the mail summoning me to the hospital to organise my surgery.  I am a tad frazzled.  Weary even.  Playing catch ups on sleep. My body behind the eight ball trying to fight infections.

I just want to feel like me again.

This was my lunch today.  I pinched the idea off Mum and I am so glad I did.  Easy.  Yum.  Lay out a square of puff pastry, chop up some finely chopped pumpkin (I microwaved it for a few minutes) add some feta.. maybe a slice of ham.. pinch of salt if you are so inclined.  And there you have it. Oh and fold the edges up to make a parcel.

If Ninja ate anything more than chicken nuggets and peaches, I'm sure she'd love it too.

Autumn is upon us at Ninja Towers.  Foggy mornings that turn into beautiful blue afternoons.  Rain comes.  It goes.  When it does, the Ninja Towers crew are most likely to be outside.  Kicking a ball for Tessa-dog.  Playing sand castles with Ninja.  One bonus of paving, is the abundance of sand we have.

Do you have instagram?  Yes? No?  If you have an Iphone, please download the app! Head to the app store and it's free!  People take some amazing photos and I love logging on and following regular peeps like me or getting a sneak peek on what Jamie Oliver got up to in Melbourne.

I've been adding my photos to the stream of #Marchphotoaday that the brilliant http://www.fatmumslim.com.au/ created.  A simple word or sentence that you interpret into a picture, awesome!

or you can snap a shot of gorgeous Tessa-dog.
